About Matt

Hi, my name is Robert "Matt"hew Clark, although my first name is Robert, I have been going by my middle name of "Matt" my whole life (which often confuses people). My wife Amy and I live in a beautiful waterfront gated community on Clear Lake known as "Seagate." It has been our dream to live on the water for many years now, and in 2019, we made our dream come true. We have our own private marina with assigned boat slip for our 26' Pontoon Boat "The Fun Machine" and two wave runners. I recently retired after a 23 year career as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, and with the Department of Commerce. Prior to that I worked as a Fraud Investigator with AT&T Wireless Services. Becoming a Real Estate Agent has been an absolute joy and I am thankful to now have the opportunity to help people find a happy, comfortable place to live. In many cases I get to help clients find their dream homes! (primary/secondary/vacation home or investment property). My wife and I are avid boaters and beach-goers, so we are extremely familiar with Clear Creek and Clear Lake, Galveston Beach, and most of the water accessible areas of Galveston Bay. Some of those communities include Bayou Vista, Tiki Island, Omega Bay, Dickinson Bayou, as well as Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston & Houston. I am excited to assist anyone in any community from Huntsville to Galveston, especially in our home area of League City, Friendswood, & Clear Lake area. I specialize in waterfront and beachfront property and am one of the few agents in the area that will take you to view waterfront communities by boat if possible. I am also an avid car enthusiast and have restored a two time International Class Champion 1965 Plymouth Barracuda. We have enjoyed showing the car around the country in the Autorama World of Wheels Circuit. So needless to say, I enjoy talking cars, boats, fishing or property!
